>>Application
Water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, steel/metallurgy, petroleum/chemicals, power generation, papermaking, textile/dyeing, brewing, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, coal mining, food & beverage, electronics/circuitry, electroplating/surface engineering, energy, seawater desalination, marine vessels, boilers, others.
>>Principle
The analyzer is suitable for online installation and operation, as well as portable use. Users can choose the installation method based on field requirements. We recommend online fixed installation, which aligns with the standard configuration of automatic SDI analyzers.
During installation of the SDI fouling index analyzer, the sampling port should be positioned on the pipeline before the reverse osmosis (RO) system. A common practice involves connecting a tee joint to the main pipeline, with a valve installed on the sampling line to control flow. To prevent debris from entering the analyzer's pipeline, a pipeline filter is recommended. The sampling tube of the SDI analyzer is connected via an adapter (with direct or indirect diameter adjustment) downstream of the pipeline filter. For excessively long sampling lines, install a bypass with an overflow valve to maintain continuous water flow and prevent sediment buildup.
The SDI analyzer integrates bypass, venting, and drainage functions into a single drainage pipe. The drainage pipe (10mm transparent plastic tubing) should be routed into a drainage trench.
